We the Members of the First Way of The Cross (C.O.O.L.J.C.) are dedicated to glorifying and exalting the name of Jesus in music! We play and sing to worship our God knowing that He inhabits the praises of His people. We desire Him to be pleased with our offering of song, dance, and playing of instruments. He is who we live for, also believing that as John 12:32 declares, “And I, as I am lifted up from the earth will draw everyone to me and attract all people around me!”

Divine Grace Dance Ministry is a dance ministry designed to educate, encourage, and empower through dance. We use the vehicle of dance, pageantry (flags, billows, streamers), and creative arts to express and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to radically impact the world through creative interpretation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to offer men and women, young and seasoned, an outlet that allows them to express their creativity in a safe, Christian environment with purpose and the spirit of excellence.

We are one divided into three groups. Mini Dancers ages 5-8, Junior Dancers ages 9-16, and Adult Dancers ages 17 and up. 

We are looking to glorify God in new ways as we go to higher heights and deeper depths in worship! Psalms 149:3-4 - Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with timbral and harp. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. 

The mission of the FWOTC Youth Department is to build a spirit of excellence, morals, values, and behaviors in the lives of our youth by using creative and innovative methods to excite, inspire, and ignite a fire to worship. Our goal is to empower our youth to understand and recognize who God is. To walk and live according to his purpose and ultimately win souls for Christ - 1 Timothy 4:12.

The vision of the FWOTC Youth Department is to appeal to the social and spiritual needs of the youth in our church as well as our community by providing relative programs, activities, and events that will allow them to operate in the spirit of excellence, express themselves and their faith, explore their talents in areas of ministry, nurture growth in Christ, and to serve the community in which we worship and to uplift the Kingdom of God - Ecclesiastes 12:1.

The Women's Ministry is vital to the spiritual health of the women in the congregation. The purpose of the ministry is for women to connect, grow, and challenge one another in their Christian walks. The women will work together, pray together, study together, and laugh together. The Women's Ministry will adopt the name LYLAS - Love You Like A Sister! 

A few LYLAS activities will include:

• Annual Women's Day Celebration 
• Monthly fellowships for building relationships
• Holiday Brunch Soirée
• Adopting a Sister 
• WOW - Women Only Weekend Retreat
• Secret Sister Surprises 
• Women's Prayer Teleconference

LYLAS fellowships occur twice a month on 1st Fridays @ 7 pm and 3rd Saturdays @ 4 pm. All women are welcome to join us!

The purpose of the FWOTC Missionary Department is twofold:

1. To help bring souls to Christ, as found in Mark 16:15; and
2. To provide help and visitation to those in need. 

The targeted audience of the Missionary Department includes, but is not limited to, the sick, widowed, and elderly. Additionally, we desire to have a strong prayer ministry and work in the spirit of excellence. The Missionary Department aims to teach women of all ages how to live holy before the Lord according to his Word found in Titus 2:3. Also, missionaries will learn how to evangelize, and be Disciples of Christ, equipped to minister to whomever would hear.

FWOTC Missionaries are appointed by the Pastor, in accordance with the guidelines of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, based on biblical principles.

The mission of the FWOTC Brotherhood Department is to enrich the quality of life for the brothers of the church. We strive to empower them to be the providers, protectors, leaders, and the men of GOD they are called to be. 

Our vision is to show the brothers how to be God fearing. The Brotherhood Department will endeavor to conduct ministry outside of the church by witnessing to those in the community through evangelism, training, fellowship and embracing the influence of the male's role in both society and family.  Finally, the foundation of the Brotherhood Department rests on Titus 2:7-8 (NLT).
